Airfield Building Camouflage

Well from the very limited experience of mine, I have only seen small fragments that are left on Bristols shadow factory on hangers at Weston super Mare.
On the the plane red brick side is what looks like Black and green, but as exposed to the elements for such a long time the exact colour is very hard to see.
As mentioned above there must be some file hidden away in the bowls of the DOE which will explain all this

I would like to build scale models too (scale 1/72) of airfield buildings and also reproduce WWII airfields at scale 1/1000 !

But what about quality plans...

I personnaly have plans of British and American ALG in Belgium (sep44 up to may45) and therefore ready to swop these for other plans in order to reach my above target... anybody interested ?

olympus man, have you tried the RAF Museum at Hendon www.rafmuseum.org.uk/

They do site plans for most airfields, they are photocopies and the quality can vary. In the schedule of buildings a drawing number is listed for the buildings on that airfield, plans for these buildings can also be ordered from the museum. After the Battle used to sell higher quality airfield plans but I'm not sure if they still do.
