I know it's not real life, but I tried orange, yellow & white is my Flight Sim. White is surprisingly visible.

A great deal of support infrastructure and equipment was supplied to the Americans in the U.K.under reverse lease lend - Very probably the windsock came from British sources.....

Now that is very interesting.....thank you. I think I'll go for yellow in my flight sim in that case.
