I have to agree with Norwich Paul - I feel it a worthwhile project that a small memorial could be placed at such locations - they cost very little and we have placed a few here and there. Relatives feel some closure in this. The type we contribute are of course short term and not ideal, but hopefully it stimulates interest into making a long term small memorial.
When a relative contacts us and explains they are visiting "the crash site" how much nicer it is to place something more personal than a small plaque with photo's.
