The aircraft appears to be over-flying a 25 yard Small Arms Range but I'm no nearer to naming that airfield!

I had no idea until I read Peter's clue, which, I felt, was a give-away.
Also there aren't too many airfields in 'somewhere in the OS "ST" square'.

This is a 1969 picture, sorry that is all the airfield there was. Had to tape the tear up to scan it.

Babtown Farm! In current satellite imagery the 25 yard range is in good shape maybe still in use by a local gun club?
