JT, Juan Trippe head of Panam, their Clipper S42A came to Hythe in 1937.
THe star is the US Army "logo", US Army were the last "aviation" ocupants - they maintained a helipad there .
Speedbird = Imperial/BOAC
The aircraft is the Fairey Atalanta , built there by May Harden May- but assembled elsewhere.
RJM= Mitchell of Supermarine, they were the occupants after MHM and before Imperial.
