No not Woolston -or Itchen -Supermarine works.

Really , There's not many places left.

Find out who JT was .... then read my website.

Alternatively , think about a well-known narrow guage railway in the east of England.

Canberra got it by 1 minute.Well done!

Most of the clues are fairly obvious when you know the answer...but - for completeness

JT, Juan Trippe head of Panam, their Clipper S42A came to Hythe in 1937.
THe star is the US Army "logo", US Army were the last "aviation" ocupants - they maintained a helipad there .
Speedbird = Imperial/BOAC
The aircraft is the Fairey Atalanta , built there by May Harden May- but assembled elsewhere.
RJM= Mitchell of Supermarine, they were the occupants after MHM and before Imperial.

So when did the US Army move out of what was called RAF Hythe then?

Churchill said "in victory magnaminty" or something like that! So if Ianbache wants to post he can.

Here's my latest contribution to this quiz. As usual, I've removed the runway numbers etc to make it a little harder. May I apologize for not posting anything to this website lately.
