I can't see a bomb store. In lower left is a sewage farm and lower right accommodation housing on parallel roads so the painting looks to be an artist's impression of a pre-war RAF station.

The original BS at Honington was opposite the hangars on the other side of the landing ground but a second supplementary BS was built when the airfield was upgraded to Class 1 standard with hard runways in 1942 or 1943. That was (is) located behind the tech and accomm sites on the other side of the main road.

Well that didn't last long did it! I found the pic while trawling through old magazines on the lookout for some some P-38 stuff.

Just to keep this going, here is a very quick one,

Edinburgh/Turnhouse. If correct, Open House, as nothing available.

I thought it was Turnhouse but the road behing didn't look right, looking at it again you could well be right
