Good idea. I keep a list of dates and numbers for the Britain from Above website for the same reason. As the source seems to be English Heritage I doubt we shall see any of the Welsh, Scottish or Northern Ireland airfields that had USAAF connections. Having spent a whole afternoon going through all the APs I must say I'm impressed with the quality and selection. The inclusion of early layouts of some airfields is great and there is even a before shot, with no sign of work starting (can't recall which). I did notice that there we some odd ones that didn't come up in the original search as in the link but did when I queried the airfield name. No bombing ranges though, but at least the Churstanton and Ibsley coverage included the attached range areas. If anyone has looked at the Manston ones, can they explain the purpose of the large concentric circles in the grass area (see link below)? A beacon perhaps?

I doubt they will on this site. All those loaded up so far have links to the USAAF so the question is which USAAF related ones are missing? Nice to see some of those included in the After The Battle books without the captions.

What I would like to see are pre-war, pre-camouflage aerials but on the airfields I have requested coverage for from NMR the earliest is generally 1941/2.
