4: Tuesday?

Most RAF men on a bike photos seem to be A/C Shaw :)

The tank has a flat top, which is not typical Brough, though the engine looks like a JAP from the late model 11.50.

Its certainly not Lawrence or RAF uniform, I will consult a friend who has a great knowledge of British bikes and see what he thinks it is..The registration indicates the Guildford area, very interesting ,thanks.

There is a crown on the badge, the RAC has or had a crown but always seems to have had "RAC" in large letters.

There is badge on his right wrist and seems to be something on his left chest.

Who would allow a striped shirt when in uniform?

The bike looks like a 680cc JAP engined Zenith of the mid nineteen-twenties,the bike was first registered in Guildford, Surrey,...The ZENITH factory was near Brookland in Surrey, perhaps a connection ?

This one has the same tank and the same attachment, the same lamp, but a different JAP engine
