Any clues as to the aircraft type, RAF/USAAF. Same for the assembled airmen,also the Officer on the extreme left? Looks very much like Glenn Miller...?

I'm pretty sure this photograph was given to me by an ex RAF Ground-Crewman whom I used to work with at Haddenham airfield in 1989-91. He was based at Marham from 1937 onwards. This chap being third from the right back row.
