BBC 1 News item on Thor Missiles at RAF North Luffenham (apparently, I'm not near a telly) has just been broadcast. I assume it will be a rolling item all day...keep 'em peeled!

BBC2 Sunday 8pm (Repeat)

This Sunday BBC2 is giving us another chance to see its excellent Timewatch programme titled 'Codebreakers: Bletchley Park's Lost Heroes' , giving overdue recognition to the brilliance of Bill Tutte and Tommy Flowers.

Plan A is always more effective when the problem you are working on understands that Plan B will involve the use of dynamite

For anyone who has not seen this programme, but has an interest in this ground-breaking work, Do watch it. It's Brilliant !!! I go to Bletchley most thursday's, right past the Park, but have yet to take a proper visit. It costs £12.00 to get in, but that will last for a year, so go as many times as you like during that period.

The Dead got memorials, The living got time.

I managed three trips on my £12 ticket. There is still more to take in on future visits. Make sure you get on one of their regular 1 hour guided tours - they are excellent. Leave the credit card at home though - they have a good bookshop.
