I did consider putting it in the Audits, but as the depots on the whole are by definition not "airfield structures", I thought it best not to at the time.
I could copy the main list over to there and leave this as the thread to discuss and add to the list. What do you think?
Maybe keep them here to go with the discussion but it would be better to add NGRs along with current status before moving to the audits.
Or copy them to the audits and add/amend as the discussion goes. The audits do need to be audited every so often.
It would be easier to amend the audits if there was no clutter.
One thing about the audits is the two headings. To my mind there should be one with the as built plus current status (Extant) in the same list.

Interesting points, though as I see it the audit lists are for members only (the audits being a benifit of becoming a member of AiX) and therefore the entire list should be posted there and removed from here. This thread can then be used to discuss them rather than clutter up the audit. Just my view though.
I think this is going to be a very interesting resourse of data and it makes no odds to me if the depots are airfields or not. Go for it!

This thread has today answered an issue I've had for a decade or more. A TNA record refers to a large temporary WWII USAAF ordnance depot called Kinghorn. I've tried to trace this for a very long time. The top entry reveals that the TNA record had an Air Ministry typo and should be Kingham in Oxfordshire. Everything fits.
