subtle difference between airfields and RAF airfields, well probably not that subtle at all really, but probably explains the different numbers?

My list is considerably shorter, think I came up with 4 active ones, not surprising since I was not in the RAF!

I wouldn't know where to start as I was born into the RAF, I suppose South Cerney where I was born and finished up at What-a-shame

This being an airfield site, my strict total of RAF airfields is 51. If you allow USAF occupied airfields as RAF stations then add 4. If you allow Navy & Army airfields, add 2. If you allow RAE/BAE airfields, add 3. Inclusion of airfields where the RAF operated, but didn't own the place, add 8. RAF units without airfields visited = 22. I also visited Lissett, but by that time it had reverted to farmland, & Wigsley & Davidstow Moor were ex- airfields that saw no flying any more. St Eval was just a domestic site for St Mawgan.

I will refer you to my post once again. I said it was a list of the RAF stations I set foot on whilst in the RAF!

My list doesnt include for example Woodvale which I only set foot on as an ATC cadet, likewise Finningley.

OK, your game doesn't include some places, whereas mine does, & I'm telling you what stations I've been on, RAF or not. If you want to be really bored, I'll name them.

Yes and no doubt I could put all the ones Ive been on too. All I asked was how many stations people have set foot on thats all.

Blimey youd think I was asking for intimate personal details!
