All St Athan has is a placard with the rail operators emergency contact number on.
A Harrier T.10 came to rest only feet away from the rails a few years ago, and that was coming from the runway!
From what I can remeber at Leuchars we had nothing in either the tower or ops about contacting British Rail or its successor should an aircraft crash on the line. We did however have a signal box at the station so maybe he did something?
