Thank you so much for your reply Yes I do have some pictures of 1954 and before but am not sure how to get them to you .This IPad (present from the family ) for my last birthday is absolute magic .I am of course not in the first flush of youth so remain somewhat confounded by it How did you find the person who mentioned flying in the Vampire 11 ?.Only one of the 7 entries marked "film" in my husbands log book mentions a passenger -an SAC whose name I could give but maybe that is taboo on this website He could have been the poor soul who was made to feel so sick would be lovely if I could contact him How enthralling all this is

i know the last post on here was about a year ago but thought i would let you know Conflict of Wings is showing on Talking Pictures TV tonight at 04.10 04/11/2015. Talking Pictures TV can be found on Freeview 81 and Sky 343, have a look at the schedule link here if you have not seen it, its a must

Just discovered that Ch81 is in the High Definition multiplex which my recorders can't handle. The HD multiplex was meant to be just that, but now contains a number of other services which shouldn't be really be there such as QVC and Film4+1 (low quality) - terrible waste of bandwidth and technology.

So I'll have to watch it live - looking forward to it.

Whilst looking at the Youtube version I spotted 'High Flight - 1957' which also looks good. Cranwell, Leuchars and Chivenor are mentioned.

A pain you cant record it, not sure this is legal but as its on YouTube i guess its okay. As you cant record you might want to go to here and download it from YouTube. The site is fine just paste the YouTube link on the home page and it will download in no time at all, no need to watch it at 04.10 in the morning i hope this helps
