Ctesiphon? (Pron. tessy-fon) If so, it's named after a mud-brick arch Tigris/Euphraties way. V. rare, the only one I can think of was, from memory, Wethersfield. Not interested enough this morning to check on GE if the runways line up though.

I remember spotting that photo in a well-known TNA file many years ago. I'd never heard of the hut in question and the exterior photo blew my mind, then I noticed the airfield plan on the interior. Pre camera days I made a quick sketch, but it took me a long time to trace it via Willis and Hollis (as it did this time!). I think one thinks of Wethersfield as a 'modern' long runway site and the brain excludes it when quickly scanning W&H. If I remember correctly I informed Paul F who contacted the base and got permission to photograph this rarity before demolition.

I appreciate the clues, but I did wonder what kind of hut would have such a deep window recess. Seems I guessed correctly. Try this one:
