Beat me to it, Peter. The FIDO system is the give-away. Note that it crosses the main road and there is an immediate runway intersection. The original first choice for FIDO was Wyton which was rejected in favour of Graveley for five reasons, two of which were:
1) Wyton has a bad approach over a road.
2) Wyton has a runway intersection near the touch-down point.
Graveley was stated to be 'ideal' Hmm !

Thornaby it is. Sadly in my frustration at trying to photograph these glossy pictures I forgot to take the reverse sides. All the other dated ones in the set were October 1938 with a mixture of obliques and verticals but I do recall one was 1939. It did strike me as odd to see Bellmans from that period even if it was as late as 1939.
