But it is an over reaction. I appreciate your orders, you have to follow them, but a coroner can't make these rules, and the CAA would insist (rightly) that an up to date map must be on board. That is it. The rest is up to the pilot. But to assume this wholesale destruction is a valid flight-safety contribution is nonsense.
Now, how fast maps get updated, when it seems every other field now has a wind turbine in it, is another matter.

My list only goes up to L11. I note that Halfpenny Green has L13, L14 and L15.


Judging by the high-tech L8 and above, the mind boggles at what L13+ might be (especially at Halfpenny) !

Yes Graham, I shall add the Lighting data in this thread and also the other preamble pages. I intended to do initially but found myself struggling to do the charts.

L13 in this particular publication is shown as 'Runway Threshold Lighting'

L8 is now defined as 'Sequence Flashing Strobe Approach Lights'
