But is the flag upside down? :)

No

As anyone with basic vexillological knowledge knows, however, when a flag is placed on an aircraft or ship, the nose/bow is designated as the flagpole. So whilst the left-hand side appears as we’re used to seeing it, the right-hand side could be misinterpreted as being back-to-front. The same can be seen with presidential jets, including Air Force One and Macron’s official jet:

Plan A is always more effective when the problem you are working on understands that Plan B will involve the use of dynamite

They need to be careful. Repaints over the original often lack adhesion and, especially when flying in rain, can get flayed off. No doubt the MOD got a warranty from Fields.

Unlike say the old VC10 tankers, for those Voyagers which are tanker congfiured, there is no fuel in additional cabin tanks and no conversion required to change roles from passenger/freight to tanker
Just fill it up and go.....

I wonder if it went in for maintenance as well as the respray, makes you wonder why the RAF trade of painter and finisher was done away with? But then again as there were so few of them I wonder if they couldnt justify the trade?

And according to the paper the other day some Voyager crew were nicked at Akrotiri the other day.
