No problem; I've been away and am now way behind on AiX.

I was a couple of hundred yards too south with my plot. Although Milfield was used as a fighter airfield I saw that the RAFM holds a copy of the bomb store RSP. Does your plan show any HE Bomb Stores as AM Drawing 3164/42?

Hi Martyn and welcome to AiX, nice selection of photos there, I will look forward to seeing more of yours. There are a fair number of our members in Bomber County so I am sure that if you ever fancied a day out you'd find some good company up there.

Hi everyone, I found your forum/site by accident and well........................... fantastic! I am amazed at the wealth of knowledge that is being shared and of course all of the photographs. A big thankyou for what I have seen so far.

I have an interest in aviation that started when I was a lad and I did a number of years with the ATC in the hope of becoming a pilot in the RAF. Failed maths miserably at Biggin Hill OASC and was offered any career except pilot and navigator. So I walked off and in a way regretted it ever since.

That said, just started flying lessons to achieve my PPL whic has re-ignited my passion for flying and aviation.

I look forward to reading your exciting posts and hoep to share som photo's and past experiences with you all.
