Right, a bit like MT deployment flight at Gutersloh.
You may or may not know Ted that under a project in 2001 they looked at building a travelodge there, Mrs SATCO was IC of it after she stopped being SATCO.

According to the beeb, looks like Kinloss and the Nimrod MR4 have been chopped and St Athan £14.5 billion DTC plan suspended.
Also Ark Royal and Harriers cut, but persisting with the two new carriers - without any jets for at least nine years!
If all Harriers go I can't imagine Wittering remaining open as part of money cutting deal will be either to stop paying out on/or selling off land.

The country will still be safe from attack though. With the BBMF, HMS Belfast and Bovingdon tank museum, our future as a powerful nation endures!

No I went to several Project Pathfinder meeting They were in fact the favoured option over the travel lodge most travel lodges have a scoff house adjacent there just wasn't room for both and the locals wopuld have fought that whereas Tesco ands pumps will have benifited all

Re Tesco 'What comes around goes around'

I firmly believe that in the future there will be a TIX - Tesco Information Exchange, with group visits to long-gone supermarket sites. Members will remember where the deli counter once stood, and where the trolleys were piled high. The snack bar, checkouts, customer service desk will all be recorded. Site plans will be treasured and there may even be trips to sites which haven't yet closed.

There will of course be threads headed 'Tesco Superstore at XXXX to become a prison'

Plan A is always more effective when the problem you are working on understands that Plan B will involve the use of dynamite
