British Military Airfield Architecture - Paul Francis

Hi Martin I toyed with the idea of having an index but two things came to mind. Firstly, I just just wanted it finished as I was fed up with it. Compiling one would have taken a long time. Secondly I justified this decision with that part works generally have an index at the back of the last volume or, as a separate volume.

You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!

I understand, I was just doing the usual things with a new book - have a scan through a few pages then was going to look up some places I know in the index.

But plenty of reading in it!
