I am now seriously thinking about re-doing my 1996 book, updating it and generally improving, adding more buildings, different site plans etc. I could probably get the latest edition out by Christmas.

I will wait for 100 positive posts from 100 different members before doing anything - that will be a good indication as whether its worth going ahead with or not - over to you!
The idea of this thread is to show a publisher that it is a viable project so the posts on here can be used in support of the case (or not). The first stage is to scan the book and convert the text into Word - not something I am looking forward to doing.
You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!
Hi Paul
I would certainly buy another copy and as PNK said , so would many Forum members but that alone would not guarantee enough sales . Do you have a publisher in mind or would you self publish like you did with your Control Towers book or perhaps combine the two ? With the demise of PSL I suppose Haynes , Crecy or Crowood would be possible suitors or perhaps Midland Counties ?
No matter I'm sure you would get a lot of support and contributions from AiX and ARG members . Good luck .
All we need now is a certain aviation memorials book updated.........!
I prefer an updated version than buying a second hand copy... so add me on the list !
