Was meant to be Monday 26th, but its forecast to be a bit windy, so may be delayed, she will need a high tide to get out, and will probably depart just after high tide to get the seaward current.... high tide times are www.tidetimes.org.uk/rosyth-tide-times-20170625
Went down this afternoon for 14:00, took till high tide at 16:30 to get out of the docks and she's moored in the river awaiting the tide going out to get under the bridges later this evening.

They always say it is huge but Iv'e never seen it with anything comparable. Now if there was one of the old angled deck carriers still around that might make it easier to compare. Are there any?

Maybe there is a secret hoard of Sea Vixens and Scimitars in an underground storage facility that could be used in the interim
I never really understood the decision to stop using the Sea Harrier or its improved versions. I would love to see the costings of the Sea Harrier (upgraded versions) vs the TOTAL cost of the F-35 to the UK.
