It is still in Invergordon. As I was told, the view is poor. I concentrated on taking pictures of antenna etc.

The carrier has been off the North Cornwall coast for a couple of days - 20nm plus offshore. No sign of any flying activities.

I remember a matelot at Pitreavie telling me about the former carrier HMS Bulwark and its one and only visit to Rosyth, apparently it had 14 inches of clearance when it went under the Forth Bridge. When the US Navy carriers came to Rosyth they didnt! They anchored off in the firth as they couldnt get under the bridge.

Blue ensign with anchor means the ship is under MOD control, rather than Royal Navy
moved over to the white ensign when commissioned

Wonkypedia definition

The Government Service Ensign is a defaced Blue Ensign flown by vessels owned by the British Ministry of Defence for which no other ensign is appropriate.[1] It is most commonly seen flown by warships undergoing contractors' trials before being commissioned into the Royal Navy,

The carriers are owned(?) / under the command of(?) the Aircraft Carrier Alliance until commissioned.
