Hi Dave,
I previously thought Oranmore closed in 1971, but the date on the back of the pic shows 1974,
which I presume is correct and as you can see there's an aircraft on the ground. So at least
it was opened when the photo was taken.

The picture was taken in 1918.
The "round thingies" are (according to the website where I found the picture) fuel tanks - but I think that tents are a far more likely explanation.
Opened Nov 1916.... closed May 1919
Reopened circa 1942...closed circa 1947 but seems to have remained on charge until late 50s.

More clues later if it doesn't go.
Will just say there is absolutely no trace whatsoever remaining now as far as I can tell.
