The Tiree example has thrown up an intriguing issue.
It was never a Fighter Command station, let alone a sector station, so why did it get a Fighter Command Sector Control Room?
Ouston is another station that became a Sector Station during the period the 5291/41 series structures were being added, so I wonder if one was built.
As they tend to be a good distance away, and many have been demolished, finding them in GE or through old maps is often fruitless.

I have a couple of books about RAF Tiree but I can't see any mention of the reason, I wondered if there could have been some plans that changed.
There were a lot of attacks on shipping on the West coast so perhaps it was thought necessary to have an Operations Room in the area near the radar stations even though the aircraft would be coming from other airfields. There is the G.R. Operations Room also on the actual airfield, could the siting of the Fighter Operations Room off the actual airfield have any significance?

I should have some pictures of Ouston somewhere because we were allowed inside. If you look on the Google Maps link, there is a SAA Magazine just to one side of the ops room - South East I think.

I find the same conundrum with bomb stores on purpose built fighter stations...
