I noticed last week that the repairs to this vandalised memorial had been completed but didn't have my camera. This week I did, even though the weather was atrocious.

A few that I took this morning at Bodicote. It's pronounced BODY-COTE, not as I said to someone BOW-DY COTE. Used to be two TTs in the spelling many years ago so I was informed.

The above 10 photos were taken yesterday at the War Memorial at Downend Point on the south Cornish coast path between Polperro and Talland Bay. It is a stunning location for a memorial.

The wooden plaque is within the church porch. This is kept locked ! Information board just outside the entrance to church.

All these Headstones date from 1925, and are at the left-front of the burial ground, before the church.
