Just watched my recording of last night's "Nukes, Subs & Secrets".

Not a bad programme and managed to give a fairly balanced view.

I learnt quite a few things. Initially when the range for testing the Corporal missile was planned on the Western Isles, they were going to take over a huge area and evacuate all the residents. This obviously did not go down well there! It is the reason that you see a lot of roadside shrines on South Uist.

It is the first time I have heard PYTHON mentioned on a programme like this.

Worth watching.

Nice one on the new series of The Repair Shop today. Two ladies whose father was a Pathfinder with his mascot, Bobby Bear., for restoration.

And teddy bear repair duo Amanda and Julie welcome a 100-year-old RAF mascot bear called Bobby. Dressed in a replica uniform, the bear belonged to a brave airman who survived a horrific plane crash during the Second World War. His daughters, Kris and Barbara, would love to have Bobby Bear restored as a tribute to their father.
