35 miles opens up ahost of possibilties - lets try Drem? About 35 miles by crow.

There arent that many airfields in Fife, apart from Leuchars, Crail, Donibristle and Dunino are all I can think of. Balado Bridge is/was Perthshire, and of course Woodhaven was a flying boat base.

I can't see where anyone actually confirmed it is in Fife ...my Drem guess stands.

I dont think it is Fife. Having spent 11 years of my 23 in the RAF at Leuchars then if it is 35 miles from Leuchars then this airfiled is not in Fife IMHO.

And now whats the betting it will be in Fife!!

About 10 miles from Edzell..

Only one I can think of off the top of my head is Montrose.

And just thought of Tealing.
