Didn't I tell you, you were all great teachers!! But sadly it looks like a case of the pupil
showing the teachers how it's done . I knew my set of 1982/83 "Military Airfields of
the British Isles" by Steve Willis & Barry Holliss would come in useful some day. Never
thought it would be in this way though.

I guess this shouldn't be too hard, and yes, i have removed the airfield code from in front of the tower. Didn't want to make it too easy!

Right first time. RAF Snailwell it is. 1945.

Nothing much left now here other than a small amound of peritrack. The armoury survived to the early 90s. There are several pillboxes south of the airfield which look weird as they were strengthened by adding extra concrete up to the level of the embrasures. Have pictures somewhere but not to hand. Not sure if the squash court is still around? It was the last building standing!
