Looks more like Little Gransden to me - the Children in Need Airshow I suspect.

I believe Little Gransden is a more modern (than WW2) airfield and is used by the YAK suppliers "Aviation Engineering and Engineers" amongst others.

Brilliant sights at Little Gransden Air and Car show on Sunday, with displays by the two Lancs and Vulcan bookended by a Spitfire and Hurricane.

The place was packed with about 10,000 people, and tickets sold out days before.

I didn't photo / video the 3 Avros as I wanted to SEE them.

My mates videos here Lancs

Vulcan

But I did snap the final pass by the Hurry, with my lil' pickup in the foreground.

Nice pictures however the two mini's brought back memories.

My uncle had an Austin 7 ( 24 RFC ) and when we sold it the guy who purchased it only wanted it for the bumpers with over riders

Don't recall the light commercials being fitted with the chrome strips over the wheel arches however I'm getting used to being in error.

Lovely V formation !

Harboda - you're right about the silver (plastic) trim. The pukka stuff is painted metal which nowadays is worth £££s.
