I dont have a site at Muff itself. The closest I have is the Aught
Point/Lough Foyle USN Flying boat station (1918) which is 5.5k/
3.5 miles NE of Muff. Would this be the location you mean. I can
mail you details to if you wish. Or you could wait a week or so as
I'm in the process of getting a website up and running for my
database. PM'ed same message to you

Hi Hugo, Looking forward to the web site. I have no more info other than my cousin telling me he heard there was a WW1 airfield at Muff. Are you Milford way?
I assumed you had some sort of macro that writes them out
Years ago I used to sign all the birthday cards at work "Best Wishes, Peter". When it came to my birthday I got a card and everyone had signed it "Best Wishes, Peter"
It's a difficult one when someone joins and posts in the introductions. If I reply I try and add something relating to their introduction but I have recently been leaving it if I have nothing to add.

My name is Graeme and I now live in Edinburgh. I grew up in Yorkshire and was fascinated at an early age with WW2 related buildings and artefacts. At one point in time we lived in a new house built on the old Clifton/Rawcliffe airfield and found all sorts of bits and bobs in the garden.... mainly spent .303's. My uncle flew in Lancasters during the war, and my research shows he was based at Dalcross, Wymeswold, Castle Donnington, Lindholme, Blyton and then to Elsham Wolds with 103 squadron where he was lost over Berlin, so I'm very interested in those airfields in particular. I do have some photos somewhere that I'll need to scan in of some of the airfileds around York from the early 80's, such as Eastmoor, Wombleton, Cifton, Carnaby, Lissett when I get the chance. I also have a section of the 103 squadron ORB and misc other stuff for the last few months of 1943 if anyone needs any info from that time?
