Just a bit about me, well i am 29 i live in watton and work in suffolk(civil service) my main areas of intrest are local airfields, mainly Watton, Shipdham and North Pickenham as i have lived close to all these bases. my big intrests are: all things mighty eighth, wreckology in Norfolk 1939- now and i am also a CI with watton air cadets.

Yeah, Greetings 'Crashman'/Daniel

Good to see another B.24/2nd.A.D. base enthusiast on-board !

Suprising to see the amount of 'newbies' relatively local to me has tripled in the last few weeks !

Funny you should mention North-Pickenham, as although I've known about the 'Russelheim' incident for some 15 - 18 years now, I've only just (this week) found out that I've got the markings/decal-sheet for the actual B.24 involved (she was a 491st B.G. bird)

Back to current day & the Norfolk contingent of AiX is soaring
