I am ex- 202nd entry / 203rd entry , No1 S of TT, RAF Halton, craft apprentice, airframes.

Now I am the webmaster/editor of the official RAFHAAA " Old Haltonian social network " and part of that job involves being a "brat finder".

If you are an ex-Halton apprentice (all entries welcome) then please join us at the social networking site. We have aircraft apprentices, craft apprentices, technician apprentices, medics, dental apprentices, and armourers all socialising on the network.

Best regards,

Hi Rat and welcome.

I left the Bournemouth/Poole area 18 months ago for Torquay(after 60+years)...but still have a son and Daughter-in-law at Christchurch.

This is a great forum with something for everyone.

Have just joined the forum - As a photographer, the enjoyment of photographing old airfield buildings gives me an escape from the more mundane day to day business requirements. Living in coastal Kent gives me access to many sites, from WW1 through to Cold War. If I have a particular area of interest it would be the story of RDF/radar, particularly at Swingate.

A quick glance through the site shows a few areas I may be able to help out with, so look forward to a few discussions over the coming months.
