Rather unusual this. As we love visiting windmills I went to photograph this one at Wilton, Wilts this morning and saw this memorial display. Very good too !

I remembered seeing slightly more informative plaques and found them shown in the attached link.

The original hospital that had been open during WW1 had been on Amersham Hill that closed when the Memorial Hospital on Marlow Hill opened in 1923.

Many thanks for that link Dave. A week or so ago there was a mention of these plaques being moved to the hospital, I called there on a Friday but couldn't find them plus I was very busy that day, but will try again next week,on holiday this week decorating :roll: and do I love it :evil:

Photographed these old hospital ruins that date from 1180. This is along the London road almost opposite the Pann Mill at Rye park. Took these last Sunday.
