Don't know if this has been covered but they are DEFINATELY moving to Waddo, but the airspace above Scampton will still be their playground. Oh, and the female pilot is in the team next year I do believe.
I think her surname is Jacobs...............cos she is a cracker!

Just in the interests of reportage, her name is Flt Lt Kirsty Moore.

As for the move, just as I predicted all along, but been shouted down for it on a few occasions!
Now the AIX can move in!

She probably couldn't handle me anyway!
I know a bit about her, she's quite a character. Her husband applied to join the Reds but didn't get accepted, her old man was shot down in the first Gulf War ( I remember seeing him on telly). She flies Tornados usually, has a degree in Aeronautical engineering and owns an Audi TT AND a CBR 600F.
I bet she wears the trousers at home too!

Not much in the way of details at the moment but two of the Reds have been involved in an incident in Greece -

One pilot ejected and the other aircraft looks to have suffered damage to the tail fin but managed to land. Both pilots ok from what I understand.

Being 'The Sun' it must be accurate.

Have to say I'm very pleased that the new female pilot wasn't involved which would have generated a disproportionate amount of media hype of the usual adverse variety.
