I was at Akrotiri (ATC camp) in 1986 when they were 'working up'. They insisted on occupying a 'block' of time lasting over 2 hours. This led to some very pi$$ed off Phantom crews who,having got airborne to shoot at a banner towed by a Canberra, were required to hold off for up to an hour after their practice shoot.And wherever they go it causes problems for the other users of the airfield, during the winter workup they can fly up to six practice sessions, by my maths thats two hours maybe more that the airfield isnt available to anyone else.

It was announced this morning that Waddington will be the new home of the Red Arrows when Scampton closes in 2022

In the high street in Weston Super Mare, the Marks and Spencer shop has been closed.
A mural depicting the pier and sea front has been painted on the hoarding which includes a Red Arrows display, presumably from when they had an air display last year

They used Donna Nook last year as well (at least) as a location under RAF control which represents a seaside dispay like Eastbourne and Weston Super Mare
They booked it last week too but were "weathered-off"
Of course having NOTAMed it, the local social media was going nuts, its only a small car park down there for the seals, so I expect it will be rammed
In a further NOTAM, I see Scampton ATC will be closed for a lot of next week, so they will be having a bit of a break

Why did they state air display rather than just high energy man hoovers? There are a number of High energy manoeuvring areas over the north sea so the only change would be the closeness to the shore. Having said that I suspect speculation would arise and have the same impact as the range is a popular location for spotters anyway.

The Reds booked Donna Nook again last week, two slots each on Thursday and Friday 2 & 3 July
