Im with you on the Arrows, especially after the Leuchars incident.

Didn't realise when I posted but the Silent Witness story line deals with the crash of a bizjet (referred to as a Citation but the wreckage they use is obviously a Challenger).
Concluding episode 9pm tonight beeb one.

On a course at Leeming in '79, station personnel reterred to them as the Red Sparrows and obviously disliked them.
They had nightly confrontations in the bar at Akrotiri with personnel from 100 Sqdn who were there target towing with Canberras prior to convertig to Hawks. and the APC squadron rhere (41 Sqdn with Phantoms?) weren't too pleased with them either.

David Blakely, the man she killed is buried in Holy Trinity Church, Penn, Bucks. We went there a few weeks ago (Last Year) to photograph the memorial to a B-17 crew within the church. Ruth Ellis is buried in not-too-far-away Amersham.

I wonder if the Challenger wreckage is from the crash at Birmingham in 2001?

I was wondering where they got the wreckage; you're possibly right.

Allegedly when they had the air crash in Emmerdale they used parts from Lockerbie.

As I said allegedly. But where else would you get airliner wreckage from? It looked very realistic, and I wonder where it was filmed???
