A lot of airliners must be being scrapped all the time, I seem to remember something on TV about one of the companies that breaks them down for spares then scraps what is left over.

A few bottles of vodka to an Aeroflot crew will probably get you one also!

ITV 2000 tonight a one hour documentary on Heathrow, or is it Heath Row??? Anyway anyone remember the series on BBC with Jeremy of Aeroflot?

They have appeared in a couple of "Life of an Airliner" documentaries

Theres a play on BBC2 on Monday night(27th January )at 2100 called "the windermere children". Its about 300 children brought to Britain in 1945, they were all from NAZI concentration/death camps. The play is about them being rehabilitated at Windermere. Also on bbc4 at 2230 is a documentary about some of the 300.

And did anyone spot the major error in the RAF uniform in the film? The brother who was in the RAF was wearing an SACs rank badge, the rank of SAC wasnt introduced until 1954. Apart from that it was a very good film.

Talking Pictures TV(TPTV) 1345 today is Farnborough 1966. TPTV is on freeview channel 81

Talking Pictures TV(TPTV) 1345 today is Farnborough 1966. TPTV is on freeview channel 81


I might have mentioned before but just a reminder to people that Talking Pictures is not available from all Freeview transmitters
