I too watched David Jasons documentary on BBMF, and thought it was very good. Dont forget that though David Jason is an actor not a presenter. Having said that I dont think James May or Jeremy Clarkson would have been any better.

Yes the documentary on "Winkle" Brown gas been on before. On forces tv tomorrow(freeview 96) theres a half hour "battle of britain" programme at 1730. I suspect its the service from Westminster Abbey.

Just watched Flying for Britain with David Jason. It was BRILLIANT !! Well we thought so. Wish now that I would have recorded it. But no-doubt it will get shown again, as they do.


I have seen at least one of David Jason's documentaries and found it far too laboured for me with him just reading a script.

I know most are scripted but the good presenters are able to make it sound natural.

Tonight on BBC Four at 9pm "Captain Jack and the Furious Few"

HMS Furious, the world's first aircraft carrier in WW1. Can't say I have seen it before.
