Just watched watched Michael Portillo's train journeys around Kent, Very interesting. Then watched David Jason in America doing his Plane, train and automobiles , first time I seen that, it's brilliant !! Anyone else seen these ?

I have not been impressed by the David Jason documentaries that I have seen, though I don't think I have ever lasted the whole length of one before switching off / over.

The Repair Shop today has one of the air-dropped SOE containers and other items from the sound of it.
This is apparently not the original version of the programme, the bit about the containers has had some previously used items added to make into a complete programme. The original version with some other new items will be shown at a later date.

Freeview Ch 12 'Quest' fridays 9pm. (may be repeated other times)
Watched most of Srs 1 and couldn't decide if it was true or an elaborate hoax; they seemed to be able to trace a possible escape route from Berlin to S America with such ease using documents obtained under FOI rules.
Srs 2 elaborates on this starting with where in Berlin he could have departed on 29 Apr '45 ( using the same road that Hanna Reisch had used the previous day), 'discovering' a previously unknown exit from the 'Fuhrerbunker', an official statement by the pilot who flew him and 'discovery' of a 'mansion' in the Argentinian jungle where he might have stayed.
Interesting even if it is a hoax.

Just watched Flying for Britain with David Jason. It was BRILLIANT !! Well we thought so. Wish now that I would have recorded it. But no-doubt it will get shown again, as they do.
