hi the book was never written as my dad became to ill but there is alot of information and letters about gisela.
from what i have looked through so far,gisela is partly written.

Thought it best to say hello and introduce myself.
My interest in old airfields is down to my grand farther being a pilot in the Fleet Air Arm (WWII ) he used to take me around old airfields when I was a kid and would tell me about flying Corsairs etc
I now live in Edinburgh and have Drem, Macmerry & East Fortune airfields close by and have been doing plenty of exploring and thought this would be a great place to find out more about them
Welcome. I have already replied to your ranges question. Did your grandfather leave any records of his service? My main interest is ranges and the Fleet Air Arm is the least recorded range wise.
