Hi,
I came across your vey intersting site while attempting to find out a bit more about a certain book called "Air Publication 3236", "The Second World War 1939-1945 Royal Air Force; Works" or simply "Works". My initial reserch seems to suggest that this book is rather rare as i can find very litle trace of it on the web. I am fortunate enough to have recently acquired a copy of this volume but as its not really my particualr interest I was trying to find out how much to offer it for sale for on ebay or Amazon. Any ideas greatfully received. Internally the book is pristine. Externally it is very slightly worn at the edges but not at all bad for a book that was published by the Air Ministry in 1956.
Thanks!

Your problem is that it has been reprinted as RAF Builds for War (is one version) and it is not that rare, for about £30 or so pounds. Prior to this the original book would be worth a couple of hundred pounds I guess. Now, no idea. I bought mine for £8 from the RAFM about 20 years ago.

You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!

Welcome ww2ni , NI is generally overlooked when it comes to WW2 aviation so you can help to fill the gaps as queries are raised.
