Just found this forum,very interesting too.I worked in No 2 Hanger, EDPF (electronic data processing flight) at RAF Feltwell 1960-1963,Thor days.In spite of Feltwell being a bit remote I have fond memories of the place.Hope I can supply a bit of input.

Hi PB,thanks.
I've got fond memories of my time at Feltwell,July 1960-November 1963.The above photo of 2 Hangar brings back memories as does the one showing the front,our section was to the left of the main entrance with our own teleprinter room attached at the rear. No Coke machine in those days though and I don't remember the blast shutters.The Nitrogen trailers were parked directly opposite and always one or two away to BOC Bilston each day.
I shall do a bit more perusing,wish I'd got some photos,only got the colour ones of Thor at Scampton taken in 1963.I will post them if you want.

Just found this forum and so registered. Just to say hi and introduce myself. Name here is Steve Cain and currently living in Chippenham, Wiltshire. I'm ex RAF, 1978 to 1987 ground radio Cpl. LTECH/AF and spent most of my time at Chivenor and later 4FTS Valley and Mona. If there's anyone who remembers me please get in touch.
