Just past the entrance exam to join the forum. :p Have some more pics of Tarrant Rushton when I worked there. I served in the RAF 1967/72. Swinderby. Valley. Colerne. Love a bit of History. Plus WW2 Aviation archaeology. Loads of good stuff here. Off to have a dig. :)

Thanks Peter. I was employed by Alan Cobham engineering at TR as a paint sprayer/fitter. On the fuel filtration division.

Hi Mike we have very nice collection of images taken at TR in the 1960s within our archives at Alconbury, I am afraid they wont find their way on here but you are welcome to view them at Alc anytime.

You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!

No Mike the images are not digitised yet and are part of our archive collection in store at Alconbury airfield. Like the majority of our images, we cant really put them on the forum as this would de-value the collection, they would get copied and we would loose control - as we have already. However if your ever in Huntingdonshire, you can arrange to view them.

You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!
