This looks as though I will find a great deal of interest in the site.

I served in the RAF from 1959 to 1993 as a pilot, initially on night fighters and latterly as a transport pilot. Great years and I hope that I can offer something in return in the way of memories of airfields that I operated out of.

Primary interest radar sites, both on and off airfields, 1939 and onwards. Also interested in military airfield archaeology and architecture, surveying and recording same.
