Hi woodhall, I lived in W/Spa until I joined the RAF in '66. Used to pass the old airfield every day on the way to school. It had bloodhounds then.

Hi listopad Ever thought of moving back to Woodhall in my opinion a beautiful part of the country i spend at least 5 or six long weekends there a year

Hi Woodhall, Where abouts in Woodhall Spa did/do you stay, We often stayed with Claire at the Claremont Guest House near to the Dambuster memorial. Within the breakfast/dining room of this accommodation the walls were adorned with paintings/pictures of world war two aircraft, an excellent place to stay !!

Hi there airfields man its a small world we have probably met in passing because we have stopped with Claire and became good friends with her since 1995 she has now retired last April and moved to eastbourne.The Claremont is under new ownership we still stay there.

Hi Woodhall,We first stayed there in 1997 and did every time we visited that part of Lincolnshire.On my regular thursday Lincs run I often found the time to pop in to see Claire for coffee and a chat.

Rear of the postcard Claire gave us ten years ago this october, that's scary, seems like yesterday. Last time we stayed there was about three years ago.
