Chris, it is very unlikely that we will re-publish the book, however paid-up ARG members have Free access to quite a large part of a very much updated architectural descriptions of airfield buildings, these along with research reports which we call ARGRNs, can be found in the members area of the web site.

I do not have have a digital version of the book, so I have made a start on OCR-ing it, one part at a time (there are 9 in all). I am also updating each one with a bit more info, a number of new digitally drawn drawings and photos etc. I hope to complete well before Christmas (unless some kind person can help me with the OCR process which is painfully slow). I am not sure yet how the printing will be funded - it might well be beyond my means - but I am looking into it. It will be around 90k words, A4 in size and around 300 pages (so a bit larger than the original).

A lot of info etc has been acquired since 1996 so its quite likely now that it will be completely new and in the form of three books each up to 145 pages. Further, by splitting it up into small numbers of parts I am more likely to succeed in getting the first one out on time (it is proving more difficult than I had first thought). Sales of the first will fund the next - if no one buys it, the idea will be scrapped. They will be ARG publications - with all profits going to the charity.

I would like some drone pictures. I am only interested at this stage in 1930s technical, WWII technical site buildings and roads etc plus WWII aircraft dispersals and bomb stores - an excellent example of bomb stores would be West Raynham. They will have to be of a reasonable resolution. If anyone can oblige please email me.

Also looking for ideas for a front cover - anyone? Or able to help. The defences book cover (which I quite like) was done by my son, but he is not available.
