The only occasion this year that '558 has used the break shoot. This was her last official public appearance of 2010 and possibly ever!!(unless you happen to be near or at Sywell next wednesday;-))

I'm off work next week, but cant be near Sywell Wednesday as Jim C and I will be at Hendon perusing paperwork! I still have not seen the damn Vulcan since it has been flying. Is it really under threat again Stevie?

Afraid so mate.
I'm off work next week as well! Shame you can't come back up to Sywell again to see her flying Denis. She's flying in formation with the Blades.

Just spotted this:

Blades Flight postponed.....

Dear Everyone,

We have been forced to postpone Wednesday’s formation sortie with the Blades due to very poor weather forecasts across most of Britain tomorrow. Furthermore, as some of the passengers with the Blades have contributed vast sums of money to the event, it would be nice to provide them with a decent day’s weather for the sortie.

We plan to rearrange the sortie for Friday 8th October, this being the next free date in the Blades calendar.

Of course, we are all extremely dissapointed in this, but trust you will understand.

If anybody is in the Sywell and Northamptonshire area tomorrow morning (friday 8th october), keep your eyes and ears on standby ;).

She'll be flying around the area in formation with the Blades between 11.00 and 12.35.
