Those two clips are superb Stevie. That was one hell of a wing over and just when you think the beast is going to land - full power climb excellent. Those pilots must have had huge smiles on their faces.

I have added a couple of shots from Yeovilton this year -

The noise when XH558 taxied up to the crowd line was ear splitting - most enjoyable

The start of this thread was 'According to TVOC they need a million'
Well here we are several years down the line and guess what?

They still need more money to continue.
They need to raise 300K by the end of the month or that is it.

Sorry but it is like a 365 day echo lapse.

I cannot donate any more than I have.

Well these pics i took today at Sywell come nowhere near to the quality of Hydealfred's fanastic pics above but here they are anyway.

It was absolute heaven fo Vulcan fans this morning. Not only did '558 perform an extended display over the airfield she also flew two seperate formation sorties with the Blades Team as well as a lot of flying around with a camera plane. All in all she was over the airfield and in view over the immediate local area for over an hour. The viewing area was packed as was the grass verge on the surrounding road. I just hope it doesn't turn out to be the last ever public appearance.

What a great morning.
Cheers,
Steve

Well you got to see it at last this year Steve!, more than I have managed. Not seen it fly at all since North Weald in 1980something!

Nice shots there Stevie. In the last one were the Blades directly behind XH558 or where postioned above or below the tail. I'm just wondering how they stayed in formation with the jet wash and wake turbulance ?

Saw 558 in the Brize Circuit at about lunchtime today (from a distance, as I was near Kidlington Airport at the time). Unmistakable.

Cheers mate,

They were flying in a slightly stacked formation just below the Vulcans tail.
